Mission

Our mission is to preserve the history of Washington-Wilkes and the originally ceded land; engage and educate through curated collections and programming; to accumulate and preserve historical artifacts and ideas for future generations; and to encourage the recording, preservation, presentation and tourism of the history of the City of Washington, Georgia and Wilkes County.
