Welcome to the official website of the Washington-Wilkes Historical Foundation, which works to preserve, develop and restore sites, buildings and other structures of historical or architectural significance and interest in and around Washington and Wilkes County, Georgia. The Foundation also develops and participates in programs and projects that provide historical education to residents and visitors year-round.
